Bitcoin Stuck Below $65K Despite $1.4B Institutional Inflows
Bitcoin has been stuck below $65,000 for several trading sessions despite strong institutional demand and inflows of over $1.4 billion into U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs.
The cryptocurrency's price has remained range-bound as the influx of new funds from large investors and whales is offset by selling pressure from shorter-term holders who accumulated Bitcoin at higher prices and are now selling to reduce losses or exit positions.
According to SoSoValue, U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs have continued to record net inflows in recent trading sessions, indicating that long-term investors remain committed to accumulating Bitcoin even as the price consolidates.
The Federal Reserve's policy on interest rates has also contributed to the limited appetite for risk assets, including cryptocurrencies, as policymakers have indicated a willingness to keep rates higher for longer if inflation does not return sustainably to target.
