Bitcoin Stuck Below Key $79,500 Resistance Level Amid Uncertainty
Bitcoin's price action has left traders uncertain about its next move as it consolidates below $79,500. Despite repeated attempts to reclaim this level, Bitcoin (BTC) has failed to establish support above it, leaving the market caught between a potential push toward $82,000 and a deeper pullback.
The near-term technical picture remains unsettled with traders also preparing for Friday's U.S. inflation report, which may be influenced by rising oil prices that have increased macroeconomic uncertainty.
According to That Martini Guy, the area around $79,500 is key in determining Bitcoin's next move, and a clean four-hour close above this level would provide confirmation that momentum is improving.
If BTC loses its current consolidation range, the downside becomes more important, with local support at $70,500 followed by stronger levels near $67,200. A deeper decline could expose the lower range support around $63,000.
