Bitcoin Stuck in Neutral as $67K Resistance Looms Large
Bitcoin's price has been struggling to break above $67K, a crucial resistance level for determining its next move. Despite recent positive inflows into Bitcoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs) and some accumulation by long-term holders, buying pressure hasn't been strong enough to sustain a bullish trend.
The long-term holder SOPR indicates that coins are still being sold at a loss, and the daily chart shows a bearish swing structure. To confirm a bullish reversal, Bitcoin must surpass key resistance levels at $67.3K and $82.8K.
However, some market participants remain skeptical about the potential for a price surge. OKX's Haider Rafique doubts that the Clarity Act will pass this year due to political dynamics ahead of the midterms. He notes that Democrats have little incentive to support a Republican-led bill, and Bitcoin's price already reflects optimism.
