Bitcoin Suffers as Strategy and Whale Sell Over 3K BTC
Bitcoin's price is being weighed down by fresh selling activity from notable entities. Strategy sold another 1,690 BTC worth $108.6 million last week, bringing its total sales over the past six weeks to 6,916 BTC valued at $429.35 million.
The large wallet identified as bc1qdj also sold 1,274 BTC worth approximately $81.5 million in four transactions executed through Cumberland, FalconX, and Galaxy Digital about six hours before the update.
MARA, a Bitcoin miner, reported substantial sales of 23,093 BTC during the first six months of 2026, generating $1.6 billion from the sales at an average price of $70,631 per BTC.
