Bitcoin Suisse Axes Local Staff Amid Global Expansion Plans

Bitcoin Suisse, a Swiss cryptocurrency financial services firm, is undergoing significant changes. In a bid to streamline operations and reduce costs, the company plans to lay off up to 60 employees in Switzerland, which constitutes about half of its local staff.

The move also involves closing its IT development site in Copenhagen and shifting software development and backend operations abroad, specifically to locations with lower operational costs such as Bratislava and Vietnam.
