Bitcoin Suisse Cuts Jobs Amid International Hub Expansion
Crypto firm Bitcoin Suisse is undergoing significant restructuring in Switzerland. The company plans to cut up to half of its jobs, affecting around 60 out of 120 staff. This move aims to consolidate software development and back-office capabilities in international hubs, allowing for faster scaling and access to a broader talent pool.
The reduction in force will take effect after a consultation period lasting until September 20th. Bitcoin Suisse has also announced the closure of its IT development site in Copenhagen, but is establishing new hubs in Bratislava and Vietnam, with plans to expand further.
