Bitcoin Suisse Relocates Half Its Swiss Workforce Amid Global Expansion

Bitcoin Suisse is planning to relocate up to half of its Swiss workforce as it expands operations abroad. The crypto financial services firm, which provides trading, custody, staking, and lending services, expects to move approximately 60 roles out of the roughly 120 positions based in Switzerland.

The affected jobs will be relocated from back-office and administrative functions to hubs in Bratislava and Vietnam, with CEO Andrej Majcen citing cost as a driving consideration. He stated that running these functions in the lower-cost locations would be 'significantly less expensive' than keeping them in Switzerland.

This move is part of Bitcoin Suisse's broader strategy for global growth and its shift toward developing a wider wealth and asset management platform. The company has already secured licenses in Liechtenstein, Bermuda, and Abu Dhabi this year as it expands its reach beyond Switzerland.
