Bitcoin Suisse is restructuring its operations in Switzerland, planning to shift up to half of its Swiss jobs abroad. The move aims to reduce costs and expand internationally.

The company, founded in Zug in 2013, provides crypto trading, custody, staking, and lending services. It will relocate back-office and administrative roles to Bratislava and Vietnam, where it plans to establish a new location.

CEO Andrej Majcen stated that cost was a key factor in the decision, citing significant savings from operating in these countries. He emphasized that this move is part of Bitcoin Suisse's strategy to expand globally and build a broader wealth and asset management business.

The company has already secured licenses in Liechtenstein and Bermuda and received full regulatory approval for its Middle East subsidiary in Abu Dhabi. This expansion targets institutional clients, family offices, asset managers, and high-net-worth individuals.
