Bitcoin Supply in Profit Jumps to 69% Amid Price Rebound
A recent price rebound has significantly increased the share of Bitcoin's supply in profit.
According to CryptoQuant contributor Axel Adler Jr., as of September 11, 69% of Bitcoin's total supply is currently in profit. This represents a 41 percentage point increase over the past 90 days.
The steep climb in profitable supply suggests that a large volume of Bitcoin had previously been at a loss has shifted into profit amid the recent price rise.
However, Adler Jr. urges caution in interpreting this jump, warning that it may not be driven by sustained demand but rather by a mechanical repricing after a sharp price surge.
