Bitcoin Surges 23% in One Week, Reaching New Heights
A sudden surge in Bitcoin's price has left many investors wondering if the next bull market is already underway. The cryptocurrency's value jumped from around $64,330 to over $74,440 last week, a gain of 23.23%. Those who invested just one week ago would have seen their initial $1,000 grow to $1,232.30.
The upward move was predicted by some institutional experts and analysts on X, who speculated that the 'bottom' had arrived and a new bull market was coming. This optimism proved correct, and it's not just Bitcoin that has been affected - Ethereum is up 31.33% in the same timeframe, while XRP soared as much as 49.05%.
The total cryptocurrency market added $420 billion last week, a clear sign of recovery after losing around $700 billion since the start of 2026. However, experts warn that the trajectory is unlikely to be straight, with a short-term correction possible due to Bitcoin becoming overbought.
