Bitcoin Surges 4.8% to Three-Month High Amid Crypto Bill Support
Crypto stocks have surged in recent days as Bitcoin reached its highest level in three months. The cryptocurrency's price rose by 4.8% to $81,105.73.
The rally is partly attributed to U.S. President Donald Trump's call for Congress to pass a crypto bill, which has received additional support from the Treasury Department's move to back long-dated bonds.
Crypto exchange Coinbase Global jumped 10.6%, while bitcoin-focused company Strategy gained 15%. Trading platform Robinhood Markets rose by 16.3% and Webull added 12% to its value.
Other notable gains were seen in cryptocurrency mining companies, such as Riot Platforms, which climbed 11.4%, Mara Holdings, which rose 10%, and Bit Digital, which increased 15.8%. American Bitcoin, backed by the two eldest sons of President Trump, surged 18.4%.
