Bitcoin Surges Above $64,800 Amid Institutional Demand and Easing Tensions
Bitcoin (BTC) has regained ground, trading above $64,800 at press time on Thursday. This surge is attributed to persistent inflows of institutional demand, as spot Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs) have recorded a third consecutive day of inflows this week.
The price action also reflects easing Middle East tensions, which have lifted risk appetite in the market. Despite some volatility, Bitcoin remains above $64,000, testing the bullish breakout of its 50-day Exponential Moving Average (EMA) near $64,660.
Mild recovery in Bitcoin has lifted altcoins, with Pi Network (PI) and Uniswap (UNI) emerging as top performers over the last 24 hours. However, Ripple (XRP) continues to trade under pressure around $1.05, amid a decline that shows no signs of reversing.
