Bitcoin Surges Above $75,000 Amid Institutional Inflows and Regulatory Clarity
The crypto market experienced its most significant weekly rally in months last week, driven by institutional inflows and shifting regulatory sentiment.
Bitcoin climbed above $75,000 for the first time since early 2025, while Ethereum and major altcoins posted double-digit gains.
The surge was fueled by spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs) recording net inflows of $2.4 billion, a strong weekly inflow since the funds launched in January 2024.
Additionally, regulatory clarity emerged with reports of a pending settlement between a major exchange and the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), which could set a precedent for future enforcement actions.
