Bitcoin Surges Near $65,000 as Global Risk Conditions Remain Manageable
Bitcoin's price surged to near $65,000 on August 19 but quickly trimmed its gains. It currently trades at $64,318.69 (09:21 IST), up 0.36% over the last 24 hours and 0.87% in a week.
Nischal Shetty, founder of WazirX, notes that global risk conditions remain manageable despite weakness in equities. This stability has allowed crypto to maintain its value during the equity pullback.
US spot Bitcoin ETFs attracted $297.6 million in the latest session, recovering much of the $389.7 million outflow from the previous week. Ethereum ETFs recorded a limited weekly outflow of $2.26 million.
