Bitcoin Surges Past $69,000 as Ethereum Reaches 100-Day High
Bitcoin's price has regained levels near $70,000 for the first time since June 2, marking an 11% surge in just three days. This move comes as Ethereum also saw a significant increase, with its price advancing by 24% to reach $2,300 after being absent from this level for 100 days.
The strong price action triggered massive liquidations in the crypto market, with over $2.99 billion in liquidations recorded over the past 24 hours. The majority of these liquidations were short positions, totaling $2.74 billion and marking the largest single-day event since October 2025.
Despite this volatility, Bitcoin's technical indicators remain bullish. The MACD golden cross at 1,387.92 continues to support a healthy continuation above the EMA50 support at $64,813.47.
