Bitcoin Surges Past $80K, Ethereum, Solana Rally Amid Crypto Market Momentum
Bitcoin (BTC) broke through its $80,000 resistance zone for the first time since May on August 25, while Ethereum (ETH) and Solana (SOL) continue to rally. The move marks a significant recovery from the June sell-off, when Bitcoin traded near $58,000.
The crypto market momentum is accelerating, supported by a weaker U.S. dollar, renewed ETF demand, improving liquidity expectations, and growing optimism around U.S. crypto regulation. Traders are now watching whether Bitcoin can establish the $80,000 level as support and continue its recovery toward higher resistance zones.
Ethereum has climbed above $2,500 after a rally of roughly 30% over the past seven days, supported by renewed ETF demand, short covering, and broader strength across the crypto market. Solana emerged as one of the strongest-performing major cryptocurrencies on August 25, moving toward and above the $100 level.
The Crypto Fear and Greed Index has climbed to 82, placing the market firmly in Extreme Greed territory. While this creates a risk of short-term volatility, it also suggests that traders are becoming increasingly willing to move further out on the risk curve.
