Bitcoin Surges Past Key Technical Line, But Analysts Warn of Snapback
Bitcoin has crossed an important technical line, known as the 0.618 Fib, at $72,204. This milestone marks a significant move in the cryptocurrency's price action, but analysts are cautioning that a snapback to lower levels may be imminent.
The chart of Bitcoin on Binance shows that it closed above the 0.618 Fib level, which is a key technical indicator. The Relative Strength Index (RSI) also reached a record high of 91.63, while the Fear & Greed index hit 72, indicating extreme greed in the market.
Ethereum, on the other hand, has reached historical TBO Resistance at $2,376 and an RSI reading of 94.31. Analysts are warning that Ethereum may be due for a reversal, similar to its June dump.
Stablecoin dominance is also showing signs of a bearish reversal, with a weekly TBO Close Long in progress. This signal has historically marked the end of a bear market and could indicate a significant shift in market dynamics.
