Bitcoin Surges Past Resistance Level Amid Strong ETF Inflows
Bitcoin's price has broken above the $67,333 resistance level and is now trading near $72,500. This marks a 4.57% increase over the past 24 hours.
The surge in Bitcoin's price comes on the back of significant inflows into Bitcoin ETFs. According to Lookonchain data, investors have added a net of $472.2 million worth of BTC in one day alone. Over the week, this figure stands at $797.21 million, indicating steady demand from ETF buyers.
Notably, cumulative net inflows for U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs now stand at $52.79 billion, while total net assets are $84.31 billion. This points to a sustained interest in investing in Bitcoin through these funds.
The breakout above the $67,333 level also marks a significant technical indicator, as Bitcoin's price is now trading above its 20-, 50-, 100-, and 200-day EMAs. The 200-day EMA sits at $71,549.86, while open interest has neared $51 billion.
