Bitcoin Surges to $65K as Softer Inflation Eases Fed Pressure
Bitcoin's price rose by 1.2% to nearly $65,000 after the release of U.S. June inflation data, which showed a decrease in Personal Consumption Expenditures (PCE) inflation. This reduction in inflation rates eased pressure on the Federal Reserve to raise interest rates.
The total crypto market gained 0.9%, with Binance Coin (BNB) and Solana leading altcoin gains. However, renewed U.S., Iran military tensions kept investors cautious, supporting safe-haven assets like gold and silver.
Experts warn that further escalation of the conflict could impact inflation and Fed policy expectations, potentially limiting Bitcoin's sustained breakout above $65,000.
