Bitcoin Surges to $71K, $100K Target Regains Credibility
The Bitcoin price surged to $71,000 after a rapid breakout above $68,000, catching many analysts off guard. The sudden rally has improved the outlook for Bitcoin's price prediction, making it possible for the cryptocurrency to reach $100,000 before the end of the year.
Several institutions have maintained or revised their targets for Bitcoin's price, with Standard Chartered sticking to its $100,000 forecast and Citigroup reducing its 12-month target from $143,000 to $112,000. Bernstein is even more optimistic, predicting that institutional demand could drive Bitcoin to $150,000.
The Moonberg presale, a new cryptocurrency project, has also seen significant growth in its second stage, with the first $200,000 batch of MBX tokens selling out within hours and the total raise exceeding $280,000. The timing of this growth is notable, as it occurred while Bitcoin was struggling to hold $64,000 and most altcoins were stuck in bearish trends.
