Bitcoin Surges to $79,172.64 on French Capital B's Institutional Demand
Bitcoin's price surged to $79,172.64 on Monday, driven by a confirmed bullish technical pattern and sustained institutional demand.
The move was triggered by French Capital B's acquisition of 376 BTC for €25.3 million, which lifted its holdings to 3,521 from 3,145.
The purchase was funded through roughly €30.1 million in capital raises, including a private placement backed by investors Adam Back and TOBAM.
Bitcoin's 50-day exponential moving average crossing above its 200-day average has formed a bullish 'golden cross' for the first time since November 2025.
