Bitcoin Surges to $81,000 Peak Amid Strong Weekly Gains
Bitcoin has experienced a strong weekly gain, rising by 23.06% to $79,087. This is despite a slight decline of 2.04% over the past 24 hours. The cryptocurrency peaked above $81,000 on August 25, its highest level since mid-May.
The surge in Bitcoin's price can be attributed to various factors, including institutional flows, regulatory optimism, and improving liquidity expectations. However, the crypto markets have shown modest growth overall, with a total market capitalization of $2.65 trillion and a decline of 1.27% over the past day.
Other notable gainers in the crypto space include Stacks, SPX6900 & LayerZero, which saw jumps of 16.21%, 13.16%, and 8.22% respectively. Polygon and Binance Life prices have also surged by 6.37% and 4.09%. On the other hand, Monad and OFFICIAL TRUMP plunged over 11% each, followed by Dash & Pepe by more than 9% and Zcash, Ethena & Sui by more than 8%.
