Bitcoin SV Surges Amid Growing Futures Participation
Bitcoin SV (BSV) has seen a resurgence in trading interest after posting a 3% daily gain and extending its weekly rally to nearly 7%. The recovery comes on the back of a significant increase in futures participation, with BSV's futures volume jumping by almost 79% to $7.29 million and open interest rising 3.8% to approximately $33.97 million.
This spike in derivatives activity indicates fresh capital entering the market rather than traders closing positions, suggesting growing confidence ahead of a potential breakout. The renewed interest has pushed BSV out of its months-long consolidation phase and closer to testing resistance at $15.50, where a decisive daily close could invalidate the downtrend.
A successful break above this level would likely accelerate buying pressure towards the $17.50-$18.00 zone, where the 200-day EMA and previous supply converge. However, failure to reclaim $15.50 would extend the current consolidation with $12 remaining the key support for bulls.
