Bitcoin Takes Lead Over Ethereum as Institutional Demand Shifts
Bitcoin and Ethereum are both facing uncertainty in September as the Federal Reserve prepares to make a decision on interest rates. According to ChatGPT, Bitcoin is more likely to end the month higher than Ethereum.
The analysis by ChatGPT points out that Ethereum's recent rally has been largely driven by short-term price movements, and it will need to extend its gains if it wants to finish September higher. In contrast, Bitcoin has been trading in a relatively stable range, and its price needs to climb back above $82,283 to finish the month higher.
One key factor that ChatGPT highlighted is the difference in institutional demand between the two coins. Spot Bitcoin ETFs pulled in $986.9 million during the week ended September 4, while Ethereum's inflows were significantly lower at $218.4 million.
The Federal Reserve's decision on interest rates on September 16 will also play a crucial role in determining which coin performs better. ChatGPT noted that Bitcoin's position is cleaner heading into the Fed meeting than Ethereum's, and rising oil prices and persistent inflation have raised expectations for tighter monetary policy.
