Bitcoin Teeters on Sixth Bear Market Resistance Band Rejection

Bitcoin has been consolidating between $64,475 and the Bollinger upper band, with technical indicators pointing to a possible rejection at the bear market resistance band. This would mark the sixth time BTC's price attempts to break through this level since February.

The Iran-US situation may be contributing to Bitcoin's volatility, as the country has signaled it will pause attacks if the US halts military operations, analysts say. However, not everyone is bearish on the cryptocurrency - Anthony Scaramucci forecasts a long-term $10 trillion Bitcoin market cap, which is still less than a third of gold's current valuation.

Benjamin Cowen warns of a likely rejection at the bear market resistance band and an August-September pullback, drawing parallels to the 2026 structure mirroring that of 2018. As BTC trades at $65,457 on July 27, it remains to be seen whether it will break through this level or reject for the sixth time.
