Bitcoin Tests 50-Day MA in Bullish Setup Amid Ongoing Technical Analysis
Bitcoin's recent behavior has been a topic of interest among investors and analysts. The cryptocurrency recently tested its 50-day moving average (MA) in a bullish setup, which is considered a positive sign for the market.
The chart shows that Bitcoin had suffered significant selling pressure in July, but since then, it has bounced back and is now holding to this bullish setup with a nice-looking bullish hammer/doji on the 50-day MA. This indicates that momentum is oversold, which often precedes a reversal in price action.
Other technical indicators also support the bullish view. The MACD (Moving Average Convergence Divergence) has broken above its zero line, and there's been a sharp rise in relative performance over the weighted S&P. Additionally, On-Balance-Volume has triggered a new 'buy' signal, and relative performance has accelerated sharply from its Spring period of underperformance.
However, it's worth noting that the technical picture is not entirely bullish across all indices. The Nasdaq has dropped below 25K support with a small doji, marked with higher volume distribution, which could indicate bearish sentiment.
