Bitcoin Ticks Higher Amid Iran Tensions and Regulatory Uncertainty
Bitcoin's price rose to $63,497.5 on Monday, up 0.7% from last week's decline of nearly 3%. The rise came despite heightened tensions over the Iran-US standoff and uncertainty about future US regulations.
The increased risk aversion due to the oil price surge and ongoing US-Iran conflict led to a lack of appetite for cryptocurrency investments.
Capital outflows from major spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs) also weighed on Bitcoin's price, which remains nearly 50% below its October record high.
