Bitcoin Ties to Global Liquidity Revealed: Expert Predicts $450,000 Price Target
Financial markets expert Raoul Pal believes that Bitcoin's price movements are closely tied to global liquidity conditions. According to him, there is an 87% correlation between the two, with a strong lag effect of about eight months.
Pal made this observation in a recent post on X, where he noted that the Nasdaq also shows a high correlation with global liquidity at 97%. This suggests that major tech stocks and Bitcoin are influenced by the same macroeconomic factors.
The view is reinforced by Keyrock's work, which has found a similar correlation between US debt issuance and Bitcoin performance. However, Pal emphasizes that his price target of $450,000 for Bitcoin depends on a significant increase in global liquidity before the end of the year.
