Bitcoin Tipped to Reach $150k by 2027 Amid Regulatory Clarity
Bitcoin has weathered its worst cycle yet and is on track to reach $150,000 by late 2027 according to CK Zheng, former global head of valuation risk at Credit Suisse.
Zheng, now co-founder and CIO of ZX Squared Capital, believes the latest drawdown reflects a maturing asset class rather than a collapse like those seen in previous bear markets.
He points to greater regulatory clarity as a key catalyst for institutional adoption, citing the recent passage of the CLARITY Act as a trigger for a new bull market.
Zheng expects this bull run to begin late this year or early next, driven by institutions seeking to hedge against dollar debasement risk and capitalize on scarcity and adoption.
