Bitcoin Traders Lean Slightly Short Across Top Three Exchanges
The current state of Bitcoin perpetual futures positioning on Binance, OKX, and Bybit reflects a slight short bias.
Data from these top three exchanges by open interest indicates that slightly more traders are positioned for a price decline than an advance over the next day.
According to CryptoRank, the 24-hour long/short ratio across all three exchanges combined stands at 48.55% long versus 51.45% short.
Each exchange shows minor variations in their specific data: Binance reports a 48.33% long and 51.67% short bias, while OKX has a slight edge with 48.8% long and 51.2% short. Bybit is the only one of the three showing a slight long bias, but it's a narrow margin.
The current positioning suggests that traders are not expecting a major breakout in either direction in the short term.
