Bitcoin traded near $80,000 on Sunday as investors weighed corporate demand against volatile market conditions. The cryptocurrency remains down about 9% for the year.
Strategy, one of the largest sources of corporate demand, purchased 4,603 BTC with proceeds from common-stock sales in August. This lifted their holdings to 845,050 BTC by August 30.
