Bitcoin Tries to Break Out of Trading Range Amid Bearish Trend
Bitcoin's recent trading range is being tested as it attempts to break out and potentially reach new highs. The overall trend remains bearish, but analysts see a short-term hopeful story unfolding.
The current support zone for Bitcoin sits between $59,317 and $62,436, and as long as this zone holds, the case for a bigger bounce before any further decline stays intact.
The recent pullback looks slow and choppy on the charts, a pattern that typically signals a pause rather than the start of a serious drop. This is in contrast to previous declines earlier this year, which moved faster and looked more aggressive.
Bitcoin's next resistance zone sits between $66,200 and $66,300, marking the last major swing highs from June and July. If Bitcoin can clear this zone convincingly, it could open the path toward $69,000 to $72,000, with $76,000 floated as a more ambitious target further out.
