Bitcoin Trumps Real Estate as American Investors Flock to Crypto
A new survey by Kraken has revealed that American investors have more faith in Bitcoin than in traditional assets such as real estate. The poll of 2,191 US residents found that 36% believe crypto has bigger growth potential than stocks, bonds, or real estate.
This is a significant shift in investor sentiment, with only 34% still having faith in stocks and just 13% and 17% in bonds and real estate respectively. The survey also found that 73% of US crypto users plan to continue investing in 2025.
The results show that even high earners are leading the charge, with 82% of those with household incomes between $175,000 and $200,000 planning to invest in crypto. Interestingly, even in the lowest income bracket ($0-$24,999), 59% are keen on investing in crypto.
The survey also found that a significant majority (70%) prefer established coins like Bitcoin over memecoins like Dogecoin. This suggests that investors are becoming more mature and serious about their investments.
