Bitcoin's price slipped below $64,000 on August 11 as traders took on risk ahead of fresh U.S. inflation data and rising oil prices revived concerns about the Federal Reserve's rate path.

The pullback follows a short recovery that took Bitcoin above $65,300 on Monday, but it has yet to sustain a move above the $65,000 area for four consecutive days.

Ether and XRP led losses among large-cap altcoins, with Ether trading at around $1,871, down 2.8% over 24 hours, and XRP falling 3.1% to near $1.00.

However, not all assets were uniformly negative, as some like Hyperliquid rose about 2.4%, Chainlink gained 2%, and TRX advanced 0.5%
