Bitcoin Under Pressure as Technical, On-Chain Signals Converge
The Bitcoin market has been in a forced consolidation phase since its rejection at levels above $66,000. The price currently trades between $63,000 and $64,000, which is substantially below the cycle high of $126,200 recorded in October 2025.
Three sets of signals - technical, on-chain, and macroeconomic - converge to indicate increasing pressure on the price. A disaggregated analysis of each set suggests that the probability of a correction is high, with the potential for the price to drop towards $52,800 or maintain support at $60,000.
The technical indicators point to a 'death cross' on the weekly chart, where the 20-week exponential moving average stands above the EMA-200. This convergence has preceded an additional 29% decline in BTC price in December 2022.
