Bitcoin Volatility Hits Record Lows as Long-Term Holders Dominate

Bitcoin's one-month realized volatility has plummeted to historic lows, primarily due to the dominance of long-term holders who now control about 83% of the circulating supply, according to Glassnode.

This reduced liquid supply limits active trading and moderates price swings but could also amplify moves if demand shifts or dormant coins re-enter circulation.

While low volatility has sometimes preceded significant price gains in the past, it is not a reliable predictor of Bitcoin's next direction.
