Bitcoin Warned Against Early Quantum Transition Amid Classical Attack Risks
Samson Mow, a prominent figure in the crypto space, has issued a warning about Bitcoin's potential vulnerability to classical computer attacks if it were to transition too early to quantum-resistant signature schemes.
According to Mow, an early shift could make the $BTC network more susceptible to attacks from classical computers, at least until it is fully adapted to the new system.
This concern was echoed by Charles Guillemet, who noted that this development highlights the need for cryptographic agility.
