Bitcoin Whale Inflows to Binance Defy $65,000 Resistance
CryptoQuant contributor Xwin Japan analyzed Bitcoin's whale inflows to Binance and found that they remain elevated despite the cryptocurrency facing resistance near $65,000.
The Exchange Whale Ratio measures how much of total Bitcoin flowing into an exchange is accounted for by the largest deposits. Currently, this ratio is holding at about 0.5, which indicates a substantial share of Bitcoin entering Binance comes from major holders or 'whales'.
This is not a new trend, as Xwin Japan noted that the baseline for the Exchange Whale Ratio has risen to the 0.4 to 0.5 range since 2024.
While exchange inflows do not necessarily mean selling pressure, continued whale inflows to Binance while Bitcoin is in a resistance zone are a signal investors should watch. Xwin Japan stated that if the whale ratio stays elevated and the price remains near $65,000, 'investors need to watch for potential selling pressure'.
