Bitcoin Whale Suffers Over $1.5M Losses Despite Still Holding onto $338K Short Exposure

A prominent Bitcoin whale has taken a significant hit on their short position after reducing their exposure to $1.25 billion in BTC this morning.

The whale's cumulative realized losses have surpassed $1.567 million since August 5, with the latest addition of $344,000 loss plus a $245,000 liquidation hit.

Despite these losses, the whale still holds onto 512 BTC shorts at an unrealized loss of $338,000.

The current price of Bitcoin sits at $64,204.62, with a bullish structure in place supported by the EMA50 at $63,661.76 and EMA200 at $63,741.51.
