Bitcoin Whales Accumulate Record Amount as Market Hopes Rise
Large Bitcoin holders have accumulated approximately 43,000 BTC, worth about $2.75 billion at current prices, over the past 60 days, shifting from months of net selling to net buying.
The reversal in stance by large players is one of the few positive signals market participants are watching amid continued retail investor exodus and fund outflows.
CryptoQuant's data shows that balances among mid-sized holders have also been increasing since Bitcoin began trading around the $60,000 level.
Bitcoin traded in the mid-¥10.2 million range per BTC on the 18th, while Ethereum traded in the low ¥300,000 range per ETH and XRP in the upper ¥150 range per XRP, all posting gains.
The proportion of Bitcoin that has not moved in over 10 years hit a record high of approximately 17.7% of circulating supply, underscoring the extremely low selling appetite among long-term holders.
