Bitcoin Whales Amass $2.9 Billion as Retail Sellers Flee
Bitcoin whales are quietly returning to the market, accumulating over $2.9 billion worth of BTC in just 60 days.
This buying activity is notable as smaller retail investors appear to be moving in the opposite direction, selling nearly 9,700 BTC during the same period.
The divergence between large and small Bitcoin holders raises questions about whether these whales are positioning for a potential recovery in Bitcoin's price.
Whales accumulated approximately 46,420 BTC over the past two months, marking the strongest buying activity since March. This follows a period of heavy selling by large Bitcoin holders in February, where wallets holding more than 1,000 BTC had accumulated about 53,000 Bitcoin in just one week.
The whale accumulation is particularly interesting as it suggests that large holder behavior may once again be shifting toward buying.
