Bitcoin Whales Bet Big as Millionaires Face Coin Ownership Crunch
Bitcoin's market is exhibiting a split personality, according to recent data. On one hand, large traders are aggressively building leveraged long positions on Hyperliquid, anticipating a breakout. On the other hand, Binance founder Changpeng Zhao warns that even millionaires may struggle to own a full Bitcoin due to its fixed supply.
The price of Bitcoin is currently around $63,030, down about 46% from its peak last year and significantly lower than its record high in October 2025. Technical indicators are unclear, with both bearish and bullish signals present.
CZ estimates that the estimated tradable float of Bitcoin is much smaller than the total supply due to lost or unrecoverable coins and long-term holders keeping their coins off the market. At current prices, this works out to roughly 0.046 Bitcoin per person for global millionaires.
