Bitcoin Whales Sell Big as Institutional Demand Surges
A significant trend is emerging in the Bitcoin market, driven by strong institutional demand and the sale of large holdings.
In a recent development, US spot Bitcoin ETFs saw net inflows totaling $854 million between August 3rd and 7th. This surge in investment highlights the growing interest from institutional players.
However, not all whales are selling. A major Bitcoin whale has made a significant sale over the past three weeks, unloading a total of 7,513 BTC ($65,233,000) in what is estimated to be around $486.9 million worth of assets.
According to analyst Murphy, the concentration of Bitcoin assets has reached a critical level, increasing by 14.8% and putting it on the high-risk zone.
