Bitcoin Whales Take $614 Million in Profits as BlackRock Absorbs Supply
Bitcoin and XRP have seen significant price movements in recent days, with whales taking profits of over $614 million. According to CryptoQuant's on-chain metrics, Bitcoin whales realized a profit margin of 20.5% in just one day.
The simultaneous increase in BTC and XRP inflows to exchanges confirms that long-term investors are using the current liquidity to partially move into cash. This is despite stable capital inflows, with net inflows into spot Bitcoin ETFs totaling $314.37 million for a seventh straight day.
Large holders of XRP have taken profits following a 45% macro rally, temporarily holding the price back while Wall Street absorbs available liquidity. The network's fundamentals are providing reliable support against current whale distribution due to the expansion of Ripple's regulated RLUSD stablecoin.
