Bitcoin has closed below its 200-day moving average for an unprecedented 270 days. This marks one of the longest streaks in Bitcoin's history, with only three other instances where it stayed below this key technical indicator for such a long period.

The longest streak occurred between August 2011 and June 2015, while another instance lasted from March 2018 to April 2019. The current streak began its count on May 16th, 2026.

Investors are looking to the past for clues as to when to buy again, with historic data suggesting that long stretches below the 200-day MA often precede significant gains.
