Bitcoin's $57K Test: Analyst Warns of Potential Liquidation Event

Bitcoin has struggled to break above $65,000, sparking concerns that it may dip lower. Analyst Joao Wedson warns of a potential liquidation event if Bitcoin falls below $57,000, which could trigger a massive sell-off and push the price down even further.

In 2022, a similar pattern was observed, where the price plunged one final time before finding its bottom. Wedson expects this sequence to repeat for Bitcoin, making it an interesting opportunity for investors to position themselves.

However, demand for Bitcoin remains weak, with accumulation staying thin over an extended period. The spot market netflow shows buying has been below what a bullish market would typically produce, with a negative netflow of -$412 million recorded over the past 30 days.
