Bitcoin's $58K-$63K Zone Fiercely Defended by Whales
Bitcoin's current price range of $58,000 to $63,000 has been fiercely defended by large holders, according to analyst Jamie Coutts. This zone has seen unusually high volume on both centralized exchange charts and on-chain spot data. Coutts described it as Bitcoin's 'line in the sand,' warning that a break below would be damaging due to the significant capital rotation into this range.
Coutts also pointed out that Bitcoin's relative strength against gold and tech stocks, its closest competitors as debasement and growth plays, is bullish on weekly charts. Additionally, he noted that smart money has been building Bitcoin positions over the past quarter, evident in recent 13F filings. Meanwhile, ETF inflows are now tracking at roughly 300% of new supply.
This setup suggests a strong support level for Bitcoin, and Coutts' analysis indicates that investors should be cautious if prices drop below this range. With large holders defending the zone and smart money building positions, it appears that Bitcoin is poised to maintain its current price level.
