Bitcoin's Bear Market is Shallow and Short-Lived, Say Analysts
Bitcoin's price has dropped by about 49% from its peak above $126K in October 2025, marking the shallowest bear market in its history. The previous declines were much steeper at 78% and 84%. This milder drop is largely due to institutional investors like BlackRock and Fidelity accumulating Bitcoin.
Analysts expect Bitcoin's bottom to form later in 2026, likely in Q3 or Q4, with the bear market potentially shorter than previous cycles. For investors, this means less dramatic losses and possibly fewer deep buying opportunities than in past cycles.
