Bitcoin's Bottom Predicted for October 2026: Is This Cycle Repeating Itself?
Bitcoin's price has been on a downward trend since Q4 last year, leading to speculation about when and where it will bottom out.
Analyst Rekt Fencer recently weighed in on this topic, suggesting that the next bear market low may occur on October 5, 2026.
This prediction is based on historical patterns, which have shown that bull markets typically last around 1,064 days, followed by a 364-day decline to the eventual bottom.
The pattern has repeated itself in recent years, with the 2015-2017 bull cycle and the 2022-2025 bull cycle both following this pattern.
Fencer's prediction is not without its limitations, however. The previous two major BTC bear markets required approximately 363 and 376 days to move from their cycle peaks to eventual capitulation lows, but this range should not be taken as a hard target.
The crypto market has undergone significant changes in recent years, including the introduction of spot ETFs, increased institutional investment, and shifting regulatory landscapes.
These factors could potentially break even the most accurate pattern, and investors should approach Fencer's prediction with caution.
