Bitcoin's Breakout Hinges on Clearing 10-Month Resistance
Bitcoin's price has been stuck near half its October 2025 all-time high due to restricted capital inflows. Chart analysis by Joao Wedson suggests that Bitcoin may remain subdued until it clears a key resistance structure.
The resistance structure, mapped from Bitcoin's October 2025 peak, is a descending path with an upper boundary that has been tested three times across more than ten months. Despite repeated attempts to break through this barrier, Bitcoin has failed to deliver a decisive breakout rally.
However, there are signs that the odds of clearing this resistance may be improving. The Moving Average Convergence Divergence (MACD) has formed a bullish crossover, with its blue line moving above the orange signal line. This often precedes stronger momentum and a move into positive territory.
